Im watching Extreme Makeovers the one in arabic, Seriously are all our programs copied from english shows ??
I can name alot of shows that are copied but ill go on forever..
anyways about this exreme makeovers thing.. i think its sweet what they do if the person is really irritated with the way they look, ya3nii for example if they hav something wrong for them or shay chithy..
Its sweet that they make them look better, maybe even give those people a better life. But some people look fine and they still go on the show. they look absolutly fine, nothing wrong with them what so ever. Walla if she just fixes her hair, put on some make up she will look good..
So what do you think about plastic surgeries ? Are they the new thing ?

i remember reading an article where they interviewed women who have been to these type of shows, i think the show was the swan (i am not sure), but 80% of the women said that they are not happy with the life they got after surgery, it wasnt as nice as what people expected.
oo ba3dain plastic surgerey has been the trend since nancy ajram came out:P
ee i watched the swan, kan 3ajeeeb i mean they really looked so different by the end of it. bSs the swan changes the whole you, not just your nose or your tummy, whatever..
Ya i realised that it is the trend these days, its like fashion..
the other day i was walking in the mall and i saw this girl walking with a huge bandage on her nose, we think she had a nose job but it could be something else..
and did you know, nancy 3ajram has had around 33 plastic surgeries..

i thought people would hide that from other people! not be proud of it (thats if its because of plastic surgery, then again, i would guess most people would think its plastic surgery, so if i was her and i didnt have plastic surger but had a bandage on my nose that looks like i had plastic surgery, i would stay at home :P)

i think the reason we have a double standard, i dont think its only guys though, is that they are the ones who get them soley for gaining popularity and because their job consists of them appearing in front of people, so keeping their looks good, and making sure they look the best they can (scientifically) is a must for them.
Ya i get what your saying..
Its true. but didnt all those singer/actresses also get them for gaining popularity..
